What makes The Summer House different?

We are an exclusive, boutique venue, a one of a kind place. You'll have the freedom to make it a one of a kind event to fit your dreams whether rustic, shabby chic, or vintage. If you prefer to have someone else manage the details, we can do it.

If you are a DIY bride, you'll love The Summer House. We have an inventory of props to help set the stage for your event.

It can be a challenge to find a place where you can completely personalize your event. Some venues restrict your choices and

can strain your budget. This unique setting provides the flexibility to create your special event the way YOU want it.

YOUR wish is our command.

The Summer House Venue is Second Amendment friendly. Kentucky is an open carry state. You are welcome

to carry on our property and even bring your weapons if you want pictures like these;

We donate multiple events each year to cancer victims, veterans, community organizations and other worthy causes. We offer a military discount to those serving in the armed forces. Our service men and women make great sacrifices for our country and we relish the opportunity to give a little back to them.

                                                                           Our  Statement  of  Faith

The management of The Summer House believe the Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). In faith we hold the Bible to be inerrant in the original writings, God-breathed, and the complete and final authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We believe in one God, who is Creator of all (Deuteronomy 6:4; Colossians 1:16) We believe that humanity came into existence by direct creation of God and that humanity is uniquely made in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26-27).

On the Divine Institution, Marriage: God Ordained, God Defined

     Marriage is a sacred vow between a man and a woman. (Gen. 2:22–24) NIV

                    Then the LORD God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.   The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was  taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become  one flesh.

     The wedding ceremony affirms the union of one man and one woman before God, friends, and family. Let us help you make it beautiful.
